Edlong Announces 2019 Feeding Tomorrow Scholarship Winners

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL [03 June 2019]—Edlong has granted Feeding Tomorrow scholarships to Mark Bollom and Brianna McBride. Awarded through IFT, the Institute of Food Technologists, the scholarships are offered to promote and reward excellence of students pursuing careers in food science.

Mark Bollom has been awarded the 2019 Feeding Tomorrow Specialty Graduate Scholarship. He is a first-year Masters student at Iowa State University. Mark hopes to pursue a career in the dairy industry as an R&D scientist.

Brianna McBride has been awarded the 2019 Feeding Tomorrow Specialty Undergraduate Scholarship. She is a first-year student at Iowa State University double majoring in Food Science and Dairy Science. Brianna discovered food science while touring colleges and strives to combine it with her dairy interest. Brianna intends to pursue an entrepreneurial career to fill a need in the dairy community as well as work internationally to help feed the world and encourage healthy living.
