Vice President of Information Technology
Paul Masline brings more than 25 years of IT experience to Edlong. He joined Edlong in 2005 and is responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting Edlong’s IT infrastructure, enterprise business applications, and reporting environment. Previously, Paul was a manager at Accenture where he worked for 11 years. He has a B.S. degree in engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
What three words best describe you?
Inquisitive, thoughtful, patient.
What was your first job?
I started delivering newspapers when I was in 8th grade. My first full-time job was working as a programmer/analyst for a small government contractor in Washington, DC. I did work for the Navy, Army and FDA.
If you could give your “teenage self” some advice, what would it be?
Don’t take yourself so seriously.
Name an item on your bucket list that you still need to accomplish.
I would like to fly a plane.
Whose legacy has made an impact on you?
One of my college professors taught me the importance of properly evaluating all options when making decisions. My dad taught me that there is never the perfect moment, and once you’ve made a decision, to act on it.
What is one “fun fact” not many people know about you?
During my senior year of college, I was the General Manager of the college radio station – WRUW-FM, in Cleveland.
