My favorite thing about being a part of the Edlong Team is…
The shared entrepreneurial spirit that is lived every day in an organization that is +100 years old. Everyone collaborates effectively, takes initiative, and embraces challenges with a mindset geared toward innovation and growth. The culture here at Edlong is truly special and continues to evolve with new trends and technology.
The one thing that almost nobody knows about me is…
I once traveled to Nairobi, Kenya for work. During my two-week visit, I was able to take in the manufacturing differences between developed and emerging countries, interact with and be surrounded by local grade-school kids on a fieldtrip, and go on a weekend safari. From this trip, I was inspired by the positivity of the hardworking people I met, was reminded to never take what I have for granted, and that the world has so much beauty to explore.
When I am at work…
I am value raising our two boys with my wife. Whether it is competing in sports, achieving new milestones in school, or just spending time around the house, it is rewarding to watch them discover, grow and find their passions in life. I personally re-energize myself by spending time outdoors, exercising, connecting with family and friends, learning to golf, and occasionally watching an F1 race amongst the everyday chaos.
