Oscar Gutierrez brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience in sales, innovation, and strategy within the specialty food ingredient industry to his role as Edlong’s Vice President of International. Prior to joining Edlong, Oscar spent the majority of his career at Ingredion, where he held key commercial and innovation leadership roles, including leading the Sugar Reduction and Texturizing businesses across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. His career also includes experience supporting the transition of Arancia from a family-owned to a publicly traded company, as well as earlier roles at Industria Resistol and Sara-Lee. A Chemical Engineer with a bachelor’s, master’s, and MBA from Tec de Monterrey, Oscar’s multilingual fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese and his global perspective uniquely position him to drive Edlong’s international growth.

That the pandemic was a transformative period for me, prompting introspection and renewed focus on my personal life and health. I decided to start a new personal relationship and marked the journey by running 2020 Km in the year 2020, symbolizing resilience and personal growth.

I prioritize work-life balance, cherishing time with my family, nurturing thru music and nature our family bonds and pursuing wellness through running.
