Edlong Dairy Technologies is proud to be profiled in Issue 73 of mise en place, the Culinary Institute of America’s alumni and friends magazine. Edlong supports the melding of science and the culinary arts in the food and beverage production industry in a variety of ways. The Edlong team provides support in the form of scholarships, special education opportunities for both the CIA and College of DuPage culinary programs, materials for student projects, and expert advice and feedback for students.
In February, Edlong endowed the CIA’s Edlong Dairy Technologies Scholarship in honor of Eugene L. Rondenet. The company is also proud to have recently launched a flavor class that provides Research Chefs Association continuing education credit. “Partnering with the CIA, College of DuPage and RCA gives us opportunities to live our mission of enriching the lives of others by supporting today and tomorrow’s culinary scientists,” says Edlong President and CEO Laurette Rondenet-Smith.
